Maintenance
CANOPY provides 1 year of maintenance for every greenroof we install. This is two visits in the year - the spring and fall seasons. During visits we check all aspects of the greenroof. Items on our maintenance checklist include: monitor greenroof components, check plant health, clean drains, eliminate weeds, apply organic fertilizer, and replant(if necessary). This first year monitoring is an important to the establishment and eventual success of a greenroof.
Once the green roof is established, further maintenance can be purchased. For CANOPY installations, we offer extended maintenance plans at a reasonable rate. It is important that the roof is checked occasionally for weeds and plant health - a little maintenance goes a long way. We strongly suggest maintenance plans for all greenroofs.
CANOPY offers maintenance plans for greenroofs installed by others. Maintenance plans can be tailored to the client, include can be a single visit per year or more. With a maintenance visit or plan we can monitor your greenroof system, address any problems, replace or add plants, fertilize, or remove foreign growth.
